A Diecast Exhibition Destroyed

On Friday, 28 June 2019, in the Czech city of Týniště nad Orlicí, a short earthquake destroyed one-third of the exhibition of the local Museum of Metal Models with the collections of the famous collector Eduard Pařízek.

One of the walls was at a critical point of the seismic impact, causing four display cases to break away, completely filled with 1:64 scale models.

For Eduard, the devastating effects of the earthquake in Týniště are a great personal tragedy. He’s been collecting car models for fifty years. He worked on the exhibition carefully and invested enormous energy in it. https://1gr.cz/…/org/THE7d3c49_Sberatel_Eduard_Parizek_8.jpg
